Bio: I care deeply about people, places, and the wildlife that make them special. Working as the Community Engagement Officer for the Orkney Native Wildlife Project, I learned that conservation isn’t just about protecting species it’s about bringing communities on the journey too. I spent my time building genuine relationships with local landowners, having honest conversations, and finding simple ways to explain why projects like stoat eradication matter. I love working with people, finding common ground, and making big challenges feel doable. Conservation only works when everyone’s involved, and I’m passionate about creating that sense of connection and shared purpose. Outside of work, you’ll usually find me in or around the water, whether it’s playing underwater hockey, exploring new coastlines, or just being outdoors. I try to live as sustainably as I can and enjoy finding small ways to make a positive impact every day.
