Bio: Tom Hopkins is a Civil Engineering Technician with 25+ years' experience managing infrastructure projects in the natural resources engineering sector, for the Department of Conservation and West Coast Regional Council. He has a special interest in natural processes and hazards, and engineering solutions for managing them. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Parks & Recreation Management and an NZ Diploma in Engineering (Civil).
