Bio: Aidan is a Senior Coastal Specialist in Auckland Council's Environmental Evaluation and Monitoring Unit, responsible for long-term monitoring of Auckland's coastal processes. In addition he is a part-time PhD candidate at the University of Auckland completing a thesis investigating the long-term evolution of NZ's rock coasts in response to tectonism and sea level changes, applying cosmogenic nuclide analysis. Aidan has a MSc in coastal geomorphology from Victoria University of Wellington and a BSc in geography from Auckland University.
