Optional Extra – Mount Mission

Friday 17 November  1:00pm – 4:30pm

You can’t visit Tauranga Moana and not take in the world famous (in NZ) Mount Maunganui.  Due to popular demand, we have put on return bus transport to the heart of the Mount (The Mount Surf Club) on Friday arvo.  There is no better way to spend a few hours, while waiting for your plane or delaying the trip home.

·         Learn to surf (http://surfschool.co.nz/)

·         Soak up the sun, or a coffee, or an ice cream, or why not all three

·         Relax at the Mount salt water hot pools (https://mounthotpools.co.nz/)

·         Take a stroll along the Pilot Bay or dunes boardwalk.

We are also offering a guided walk up Mauao (Mount Maunganui).  This will take approximately 1 hour and is suitable for those with average fitness and sturdy footwear.  We have the Mount Surf Club Lounge booked for you to use as a base with secure space to store luggage.

For those who are returning home by plane, the Mount Surf Club is approximately the same distance to the airport as from Trinity Wharf (20 mins). So a taxi from the Surf Club to the airport would be a good option for you. If you need to return to Trinity Wharf, the bus will return by 4:30pm.

Event: Mount Mission.

When: Friday, 17th November 2017 1.00pm – 4:30pm.

Location: Mount Surf Club, 21 Adams Ave, Mt Maunganui.

Transport: Bus departing from and returning to Trinity Wharf.
