Student Breakfast

Coastal Careers Chat & Breakfast

NZCS Conference Hokitika
Café de Paris, 19 Tancred St
Thur 21 Nov, 7.30am – 9am

Following on from the successful ‘Student Breakfast’ held at previous NZCS conferences, the NZCS is expanding the event to include people early (<5 years) in their professional coastal career.

The aim of the chat is for students and early professionals to ‘pick the brains’ of selected mentors that have ‘been there, done that’ in the coastal scene.  Some of the mentors are also in positions that involve recruiting, so are likely to provide insights in what they are looking for in a person.  The chat is also a chance to network with other people at the same stage of your coastal career.  There will be free food and beverages (subject to numbers). Registration is free and open to all students and early professionals registered for the conference, please email Rick Liefting (rick.liefting@waikatoregion.govt.nz) by Friday 15 November to confirm your place.
